About Our Trainers
Meet The Off Leash K9 Team
WE ARE PROFESSIONAL DOG TRAINERS THAT HELP FAMILIES WITH THEIR UNRULY DOGS AND MAKE THEIR LIVES EASIER
Devon - Owner
After graduating with her bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University, Devon decided to pursue a career in what she loves most: Dogs. She has been training with Off Leash K9 Training since May 2018, and her love of dogs has only continued to grow. Devon and trainer Maegan are also the owners of OLK9 Springfield! They brought Off Leash K9 Training to the Springfield/Branson area in August of 2019 to help more families have a better life with their dogs.
In her time as a dog trainer, Devon has had the opportunity to work with hundreds of families, including Mike Gundy, Head Football Coach at Oklahoma State University, training not one but three of his dogs. Devon believes that dogs are a huge part of every family, and their training can only make their part that much better.

Maegan - Owner
Maegan has a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from the University of Central Oklahoma. She has been a trainer with Off Leash K9 Training since November 2017 and has loved every minute! She and trainer Devon proudly own the Off Leash K9 Springfield location and have been serving the Springfield/Branson area since August of 2019. Working with dogs is what truly makes her happy. Maegan believes having a dog should enhance your life experiences, not inhibit them!

Meet McKenzie
McKenzie earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Missouri State University, but her true passion for dogs started long before that. Growing up, she dreamed of living on a dog farm filled with pups that couldn’t find homes in shelters. When she was just five years old, McKenzie welcomed her very first dog into the family, a loyal companion she named Scout.,
As her love for dogs grew, McKenzie longed for a big dog. Her mom had one condition: “When you move out, you can have as many big dogs as you want!” Naturally, McKenzie kept that promise. The very month she moved out, she found Jasper, her soul dog, at a local shelter. With Jasper by her side, the only thing left was to pursue her dream of working with dogs full-time.
That dream came true in 2022 when McKenzie joined the Off Leash K9 Training team. Now, she’s living her passion every day, helping dogs and their owners build stronger bonds. McKenzie is thrilled to be part of the Off Leash K9 family and looks forward to making a difference, one dog at a time!

Meet Christiana
Christiana earned her Bachelor’s in Health Science from the University of Missouri in 2019. Originally from Willard, Missouri, she has spent her life surrounded by animals, with a dog always by her side as her closest companion.
During her college years, Christiana’s mom began fostering dogs, and it wasn’t long before Christiana jumped right in. Over time, she became an expert at “foster failing,” giving many foster pups their forever home.
Her most recent rescue, Peanut, is what led her to discover Off Leash K9 Training SW Missouri. She knew it would be the perfect program to help Peanut thrive, and through that experience, Christiana found her calling. She realized there was no better career for a dog lover than becoming a dog trainer.
Since joining Off Leash K9 Training in 2023, Christiana has loved helping dogs and their owners build stronger bonds. She’s passionate about making a positive impact and looks forward to many more rewarding moments with the OLK9 family!

Meet Madeline
Madeline spent the past three years working in the mental health and disabilities field, where she discovered the incredible impact dogs can have on people’s lives. Every day, she brought her disabled rescue dog, Mr. Winston, to work with her clients. Witnessing firsthand how a dog’s presence—especially a trained one—can bring comfort, healing, and positive change, Madeline realized she had found her true passion: helping dogs and their owners create lives of harmony and connection.
With this new dream in mind, Madeline set out on a path to become a dog trainer. Along the way, she continued to rescue and adopt animals with disabilities, knowing that she could offer them the love and care they needed to thrive despite the challenges they had faced.
In February of 2024, Madeline’s dream became a reality when she joined Off Leash K9 Training. Now, she’s excited to help dogs and their owners unlock their potential and build lasting bonds. Madeline looks forward to seeing the magic that unfolds as she helps each dog-and-owner duo create the life they’ve always dreamed of.

Meet Kasey
Kasey has been a key member of the Off Leash K9 Training team since June 2020 and currently serves as our Head Trainer. A lifelong dog lover from Southwest Missouri, Kasey brings a unique blend of passion and expertise to her role, backed by a degree in Business Marketing.
Kasey’s journey into professional dog training began with her German Shepherd, Sarg, who was trained through Off Leash K9. Inspired by the transformative experience, Kasey knew she wanted to help others build stronger connections with their dogs.
In addition to her role as Head Trainer, Kasey owns and operates two Off Leash K9 locations of her own. She is committed to helping residents of Columbia, Missouri and Northwest Arkansas create lasting bonds with their dogs through trust, structure, and communication. Kasey is passionate about helping both owners and their pups unlock their full potential, one training session at a time!
